When using the detector in horizontal orientation, the probe is attached to the Telescopic Rod and the tablet is mounted above the handle. The ready-to-use operating mode is recommended to prepare the scan field and clear it of ferrous items close to the surface. This allows to detect buried objects in the ground even deeper and more accurately in the subsequent 3D Ground Scan.
3D Ground Scan
OKM is renowned for its 3D imaging detection technology developed and engineered in Germany. 3D Ground Scan is the most performative operating mode to locate target objects as deep as 60 ft (18 m) in the underground.
After saving the measurement, treasure hunters can analyze the scan image in detail, and determine the position, size and depth of the detected targets before excavation.
Detect Secret Passages and Tunnels with Thermography
Using the Thermo Probe (T) unlocks 2 more operating modes that allow both horizontal and vertical measurements: Thermo Scan and Thermo Stream.
Thermo Scan
With Thermo Scan, larger surfaces can be scanned for temperature differences. Just like in the established 3D Ground Scan operating mode, the surface is measured with the detector following a specific scheme.
Thanks to the extremely short probe, the OKM Delta Ranger is ideal for horizontal wall surface measurement. Thus, temperature differences on walls can be made visible and provide clues to hidden rooms and corridors behind them.
In addition, the detector with can also be used vertically (like in 3D Ground Scan), to detect underground cavities, chambers and tunnels.
Thermo Stream
The Thermo Stream operating mode uses the live camera image as background and a socalled false color scheme for the simplified visualization of temperature differences. If both are correctly tuned using the crosshair calibration prior to the measurement, it is possible to precisely determine the surface temperature of objects and surfaces at specific points.
The surface temperature of the targeted object is indicated
as simplified color point cloud on the camera image,
by a pointer on the temperature scale,
as value in °Celsius or °Fahrenheit.
Void and Cave Detection Inspired by Science
Thermography usually uses color associations for products in everyday use, such as those familiar from a thermostat or tap: blue is associated with cold, while red is perceived as warm.
In science, so-called false color schemes (or pseudo color schemes) are preferred. The false color representation uses colors that deviate from the natural color impression in order to make fine nuances of a tone more easily distinguishable.
The Thermo Scan and Thermo Stream modes rely on this advantage and therefore use the false color spectrum: from black (cold) via blue, purple, red, and yellow to white (warm).

The GeoSeeker is a professional geoelectrical water detector and cavity detector that measures the ground resistivity and visualizes its scan data in incredible 3D graphics. It is a very mobile and easy to operate geoelectrical detector designed and manufactured in Germany.
GeoSeeker Scan Modes
GeoSeeker hardware components are completely controlled by a modern Android Tablet PC. All commands and measurement results are transferred wireless via Wi-Fi. Using the pre-installed software application, you simply select one of three supported scan modes:
Active Scan (Accurate)
While using this scan mode the GeoSeeker utilizes two electrodes to inject electrical power into the underground soil. Two additional electrodes are measuring the potential difference (fall of voltage) at specific scan points to calculate the final resistivity value. This mode is used to detect underground water deposits, hidden caves or even impervious layers and barriers within the underground soil. In active scans you will be able to define a specific depth range in that you are going to conduct your measurement. So, you will define a starting and ending depth between 5 meters (16 feet) and 250 meters (820 feet).
Active Scan (Quick)
This scan mode is a quick version of the accurate scan. It is also injecting electrical current into the underground and measuring the potential difference (fall of voltage) to calculate the resistivity of the ground.
Passive Scan
While using this scan mode the GeoSeeker only utilizes two electrodes to read the natural occurring voltage of the underground (no electrical power is injected into the underground). This mode is used to detect underground flowing water only.
GeoSeeker Software
The GeoSeeker’s software application is providing simple step-by-step instructions to assist you in completing the measurement. You simply follow these pictured instructions until your measurement has been finished. After completing the measurement, a graphical 3d representation of the measure values is created and displayed on the screen of your Tablet PC. Some color adjustment options are provided to optimize the graphical 3d visualization of your underground water deposits, water-bearing gravel and groundwater level (shown in bluish colors) as well as cavities, caves, tunnels, chambers or impervious layers (shown in reddish colors).

Smart Treasure Hunting with Fitness Tracking and Compass

If the Rover UC user is discovered and attracts suspicion, he can open the activity screen by only one click, which - as usual for fitness applications - will display the pedometer and heart rate.
To further emphasize the function of a trekking pole, a compass is also integrated. However, this not only assists with orientation in the terrain, but is also of great advantage for 3D ground scans: Experience shows that treasure hunters achieve better results with measurements in a north-south (or south-north) orientation, since the measurement paths follow the earth's natural magnetic field.
Individual Treasure Hunting: Easily Customize Detector and App
Height AdjustmentThanks to the telescopic rod, the height of the Rover UC can be individually adjusted to the height of the treasure hunter in order to guarantee a comfortable posture. Another positive effect of the height adjustment: With increasing length, the sensors in the detector detect more sensitively and are thus even more capable of detecting smaller objects at greater depths.
Design
Depending on the time of day and the site, different theme designs can be useful. Detector users can choose between bright day and dark night mode to see the information on the display more clearly and to remain inconspicuous even in the dark.
Select Feedback: Sound, Vibration and Visualization
Sound
Sounds are not only essential for VLF detectors, but also play an important role in the Rover UC 3D ground scanner:

To ensure the undercover character of the detector, Bluetooth headphones can be connected to the smartwatch or alternatively to a smartphone. This way, only the treasure hunter can hear the acoustic signals without attracting attention.

Vibration can additionally be switched on in the App's settings menu. Haptic feedback is especially helpful when the sound is turned off.
Visualization
The small display on the handle of the Rover UC provides a brief overview with information on charging status, connection status, steps counted (pedometer) and orientation (compass). Furthermore, the progress of the current scan line is displayed during the 3D ground scan measurement.

In the operating mode 3D Ground Scan, the scan field is generated scan line by scan line as a 2D image during the measurement. After the scan has been finished and saved, the scan image can be enlarged and rotated via smartwatch touchscreen in order to analyze it in more detail in the resulting 3D image.

Graphical 3D ground measurement with manual and automatic pulse triggering: After measuring the target area, a three-dimensional graphic is created that can be evaluated directly on the smartwatch display. For a detailed representation, the scan file can be transferred to the notebook and analyzed in the Visualizer 3D Studio detection software.
Magnetometer
Magnetic field measurement to find metallic objects in the subsurface: The Magnetometer operating mode is used to acquire a quick overview of the target area. It is recommended that the location is cleared of unwanted metal objects using the Magnetometer before performing a 3D Ground Scan.
Pinpointer
Basic target identification and visual metal discrimination between ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic metals: With Pinpointer, detected objects can be localized even more precisely and the type of target can be determined more easily
Evaluate Measurements on the Go
The software for visualizing the scan data is already integrated in the OKM App for Android smartwatch and smartphone. This means that all measurements can be viewed immediately on site and no computer is required for the initial evaluation of the measurement data. On the touchscreen, 3D graphics can be rotated and enlarged with intuitive gestures.
