Filipino gifting culture is one of the most intentional in the world, but we just never called it that.

We have the concept of pasalubong, despedida, and birthday celebrations where the celebrant treats everyone else.

In our culture, gifting has always been a love language way before “curated gift boxes” or “gifting studios” existed. And nowhere does it show up more than at a Filipino wedding where there are principal sponsor gifts, entourage gifts, and wedding giveaways.
