Okay. I'm so happy I made it this far (feeling off yarn). And so I made this pot from my scrappy pants that got stained by a paint and since I'm being kuripot young tita and don't want to spend money on plastic pots on the market, I decide to make this one out of scraps. To my surprise, after all those rest days that I had, this is the perfect time that I finished the project. Not just to emphasize utilizing my scraps turning into crafts, but also making food out of it. I call this the "petsa de peligro bangko" so I can use this one when I got no money on hand at all. Also would like to share that I am watering this kangkong with rice water since the starches from leftover rice water will help encourage beneficial soil bacteria, while the vitamins and minerals will add small amounts of NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) to the soil. Obviously, you should wait until the water has cooled before you start to use it on the plants.
Hope this one to encourage you do the urban gardening, not just to help environment but also can save you more pennies to serve on you and your families table.
