NATIONAL ICONS OF THE PHILIPPINES

HOW TO JOIN
1. Customize any genuine BIC lighter based on the monthly theme.
2. Record a short video showing your actual design process and take clear photos of your finished lighter.
3. COMMENT the photo of your entry below and include the LINK to your process video.
MECHANICS
1. Eligibility
• Open to Filipino citizens residing in the Philippines. All ages may join.
• Minors must have a parent/legal guardian submit on their behalf.
• Employees of BIC Philippines, partner agencies and their immediate families are not eligible.
2. Design Guidelines
• The base must be an actual, genuine BIC lighter, any variant.
• Design must be original and personally created by the participant.
• Acrylic paint, markers, sticker wraps, illustrations, decorative elements and mixed media are allowed.
• Do not dismantle, puncture, cut, heat or tamper with the lighter's fuel, ignition or safety components.
• Offensive, illegal, inappropriate or unauthorized copyrighted content is prohibited.
3. STRICT NO-AI POLICY
AI-GENERATED OR AI-MANIPULATED ENTRIES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
The submitted design must be a REAL, PHYSICAL BIC LIGHTER personally customized by the participant.
Basic cropping, brightness, contrast and color correction are allowed as long as they do not misrepresent the actual entry.
BIC may request raw photos/videos or additional proof to verify authenticity.
4. Multiple Entries
Participants may submit multiple entries, provided each features a different original design and corresponding process video.
5. Judging Criteria
Creativity & Originality – 30%
Design Ex*****on – 30%
Relevance to Theme – 30%
Social Media Impact (Likes & Shares) – 10%
TOTAL – 100%
Fake, purchased, automated or manipulated engagement will not be counted and may result in disqualification.
6. BIC reserves the right to verify and disqualify entries that violate these mechanics.
THE DECISION OF THE JUDGES IS FINAL AND NOT SUBJECT TO APPEAL, RECONSIDERATION OR DISPUTE.
By joining, participants agree to these mechanics and grant BIC permission to feature their submitted designs, photos and videos.
