I made this crocheted beret inspired by stained glass windows in churches and cathedrals ✨

After years of crochet experience this is only the second time I ever reached for the multicolored yarn 🫣 I don't think the illusion would've worked without it.

Slept on fine cotton yarn for so long cause the online crochet community said it was so hard to work with.

And they're right 😭

i'm happy to report that though it may have taken me months longer than expected, and a lot of trial and error, it was well worth the struggle. The drape is flowy and the thickness is good for Philippine weather.

Would I work with it again? Definitely. Would I use it to make clothes for other people? *Insert Bugs Bunny photo with a large "No"*
