03 JULY | GOOD MORNING | Your daily prayers

🌞 With Jesus in the morning.

My Lord and my God

“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (Jn 20:29)

Lord Jesus, on the feast of Saint Thomas, I reflect on your patience with those who seek to understand and believe. You do not reject their doubts, but rather reach out to them. I also bring questions, uncertainties, and a desire to know you more deeply.

Thank you for never tiring of drawing near to me. Strengthen my faith so that I may recognize you in the events of daily life and in the people I meet each day. May I, like Thomas, open my heart and proclaim with sincerity: “My Lord and my God.”

I pray this prayer of offering together with my brothers and sisters in this Prayer Network. Amen.

Caring for Life

Lord, I pause on this day to thank you for the life you invite me to live, and I reflect:

“Life has its own extraordinary nature: it is given to us; we cannot give it to ourselves; and it must be constantly nourished: it requires care that sustains it, makes it dynamic, safeguards it, and renews it.” (Pope Leo XIV)

Thank you for the signs of your presence; today I was able to notice signs of your constant care. Help me to cherish life, to keep it always alive and bearing fruit. May my daily life reflect a living relationship with you, a source of hope for those who walk beside me.

I pray the prayer of the month.

Giving Thanks

As we come to the end of the day, we recognize the weariness of our bodies and our desire for restorative rest. We thank you Lord for walking with us throughout this day.

Help us now to notice the small acts of gracious love we have received from our brothers and sisters. Make our gaze simpler and more attentive, so that we may recognize these gifts and give thanks for them.

Forgive us for letting things pass by without us stopping to be grateful.

Give us generous hearts to live each day in thanksgiving for everything and for everyone.

Our Father.

Given the recent release of the classified files on the UFOs by the U.S. government, TIA believes it very timely to reproduce the Vatican's position on Aliens. Read three official news reports, revealing the Vatican's openness to these "more spiritually evolved" devils of the air and "whatever the universe has for us". https://bit.ly/4uSexj6

"I am Roman."
- His Holiness Pope Leo XIV
May 25, 2025

When Pope Leo XIV declared, “I am Roman,” he was not speaking of politics, nor of worldly authority. He was affirming something far deeper—the sacred identity of being part of the Church founded by Christ Himself.

To be “Roman” is to belong to the See of Peter, to stand in the line of succession that began when Jesus said to Saint Peter: “You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church.” It is a declaration that the papacy is not chosen by the powers of the world, but is part of the unbroken apostolic succession, a mission handed down from Christ through the ages.

This is why the words of Donald Trump stand in sharp contrast. To claim that a Pope’s place is shaped by political leadership reflects a misunderstanding of what the Church truly is. The Chair of Peter is not given by presidents, governments, or influence, it is entrusted through the Holy Spirit, through the continuity of the Church Christ established.

“I am Roman” therefore becomes a quiet but powerful response. It says:
I belong not to the powers of this world, but to a Kingdom not of this world.

It reminds us that while earthly leaders rise and fall, the Church endures, not because of human strength, but because Christ remains its head.

And for us as Catholics, this is an invitation:
To remain faithful not because it is easy,
not because it is popular, but because we are part of something eternal.

We, too, are within that story, a Church wounded yet enduring, tested yet standing, held together not by power, but by grace.

For in the end, it is not politics that sustains the Church, it is Christ, who continues to lead it through every age.
