BALITANG WILDLIFE: Feel good story naman tayo -- alam n'yo bang ang Owl-kansya Series ng AJ's Coconut Crafts ng Sanchez Mira, Cagayan ay inspirado ng lahat ng mga bird rescues na ginagawa ninyo?

Partikular na nakapukaw ng interes sa isipan ni Alvin Barcena, pinunong artisano ng AJ's, ay ang Luzon Boobook, na makikita rito sa larawan.

Matatandaang ilang beses nang naka-rescue ng Luzon Boobook ang mga taga-Sanchez Mira, patunay na marami ito sa ating lugar -- ngunit patunay rin na unti-unting lumiliit ang habitat nito dahil sa pagkasira ng kalikasan sa iba't ibang bahagi ng Luzon. Dapat tayong kumilos upang ma-minimize ang human-induced damage sa ating mga gubat.

Ang Owl-kansya Series, na gawa sa coconut shells, ay inilunsad noong 4th International Summit on Grey-faced Buzzard and Migratory Raptors na inorganisa ng LGU Sanchez Mira noong taong 2024.

Ang LGU Sanchez Mira sa ilalim ng patnubay ni Mayor Abe Bagasin ay nagagalak sa patuloy ninyong pakikiisa sa pangangalaga ng kalikasan. Nawa'y tuloy-tuloy ang ating inspirasyon.
