Okay, let's talk about Marj — because a lot of you asked about it.
This is not a small scent. Ahmad Al Maghribi made Marj as a full oriental story.
It starts with Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Elemi, Nutmeg, Tangerine, Oud and Honey — fresh citrus with a spicy, honeyed oud touch right from the first spray.
In the middle, you get Patchouli, Vetiver, Cashmere Wood, Cinnamon, Rose, Saffron, Jasmine and Orange Blossom — that's where it becomes warm, floral, and a bit smoky.
And it finishes with Musk, Amber, Raspberry, Saffron, Oakmoss, Leather, Sandalwood, Violet, Agarwood and Ambroxan — that raspberry-leather-oud dry down that everyone remembers.
60ml EDP, Spicy Woody Oriental, and yes — it actually lasts 10-12 hours as they claim.
I put it as Episode 7 in our "Who Invented It?" series because if you love Khamrah, you will understand Marj immediately — but it's deeper and more oriental.
Have you tried Marj in this winter? Does the honey-raspberry opening work for you?
