One Village / Town One Product

One Village / Town One Product One Village and One Product concept is basically taken from Thailand. Replicated worldwide e.g. Malaysia, China, UK etc.

In order to develop the country, it is necessary that every village / Town / City must have a product in which it has comparative advantage (local people decide what they wish to produce, local materials are used and local wisdom is employed). However, our civil society organizations can help in identification of such products and can also work for achievement of comparative advantage so that our nation may have exalted position. The village / town / city must be self sufficient in the product and people earn by selling it to other villages / towns / cities / countries.
