On Sept. 9th Hiba Crafts signed a contract with Nermin Moufti for provision of design services (logo and Facebook banner)! Branding is expected to be complete by Oct. 3rd insha'Allah!

On Aug. 20th Hiba Crafts received designer Nermin Moufti's portfolio and proposal. Nermin has done some amazing work with special emphasis on Arabicization of text. Hiba hopes to formulate a design partnership with Nermin for the project.

8 out of 10 women in Pakistan are 'At-home' and do not participate in the workforce. However, many of these women possess some handicraft skills and can easily supplement the household income from the comfort of their home. For this they need access to markets who will be willing to pay them a fair wage for their products. Hiba Crafts is a social enterprise that has been set up specifically to provide market access to these women, while also building their production capacity for more highly demanded products.
