“How can cousins be considered like brothers if marriage with them is permissible?”

People often say, “Why observe hijab from a cousin? He is like a brother.” If a cousin were truly a brother, then why is marriage with a cousin permissible in Islam? Similarly, people say, “A brother-in-law is like a younger brother,” or “Who observes hijab from an elder brother-in-law?” Yet, when marriage with such non-mahram relatives is permissible under certain circumstances, why should the rules of hijab be ignored?

Please stop making religion a subject of mockery. Hijab is an obligation just as prayer is an obligation.

My religion is not harsh, nor does it encourage unnecessary hardship. However, Allah has set certain boundaries, and there are warnings against crossing them.

Do you know what often happens in our society? At the time of marriage, people avoid printing the bride’s name on the wedding card because “What will people say?” Yet, on the wedding day, the same bride is brought onto a stage without proper hijab in front of many non-mahram men.

At that moment, where do the concerns about modesty and honor go? Photographers, videographers, and many others look at her, while various comments and opinions are expressed about her appearance.

Fathers, brothers, and even husbands sometimes present their daughters, sisters, or wives before non-mahrams, effectively inviting everyone to look at them.

Many women say, “My husband does not allow me to observe hijab.”

Suppose your husband did not allow you to visit your parents. What would you do? You would likely argue, persuade, request, or seek support from family members. Such situations are common in society.

If you can stand up and strive for something so important to you, why can you not take a stand for your faith as well?

A woman holds tremendous influence over future generations. She is capable of achieving great things.

Every worldly relationship has a limited duration. The only everlasting relationship is the relationship with Allah and His creation.

Do not abandon hijab for the sake of a temporary life. Whatever the circumstances may be, do not compromise on modesty.

Your beauty is meant for those whom Allah has made lawful for you. Preserve and protect it with dignity.

May Allah grant all believing women the ability to observe hijab and modesty.

Allah has entrusted women with a significant role in the upbringing of future generations. Let us strive not to neglect this responsibility.

My only wish is that these words may touch someone's heart. Perhaps they may stop a person from moving further down a path of misguidance—or at least encourage them to reflect.

Educating a boy is the education of an individual, while educating a girl is the education of an entire family.

🇵🇰 Let us focus on the proper upbringing and moral development of our children.

Note: Please share this message with others. Perhaps Allah may change someone's life through your efforts.

This is our beloved Pakistan — the story of corruption involving a Grade-19 officer from Sindh, Zameer Abbasi. Due to his actions, the Sindh government had to face embarrassment and humiliation before the World Bank, the people of Karachi, and the Frontier Works Organization (FWO). When the Sindh government attempted to take action against Zameer Abbasi, officials working under the Anti-Corruption Department of Sindh allegedly tipped him off, after which he fled Karachi.

As a consequence of allegedly helping Zameer Abbasi escape, the Director General of Anti-Corruption, Imtiaz Ali Abro, was removed from his position. Furthermore, due to this failure, the Anti-Corruption portfolio is also being taken away from Minister Muhammad Bux Mahar.

Former BRT Project Director Zameer Abbasi is accused of embezzling 17 billion rupees from the BRT project on University Road while ensuring that no one became aware of it.

Three months ago, when well-known Karachi journalist Arbab Chandio first made a social media post viral about University Road having been dug up and left unfinished for the past four years, the Sindh government, the World Bank, and other institutions realized the seriousness of the matter.

The Sindh government, demonstrating neutrality and practicality, awarded the contract to FWO and directed it to complete the project within 90 days.

When FWO took over the project and briefed the Chief Minister of Sindh and other key officials, it was revealed that former Project Director Zameer Abbasi had been providing false briefings to the Chief Minister and other important figures regarding the project.

After Arbab Chandio's report brought attention to the project—which had deteriorated into a state of neglect over four years—the Chief Minister questioned Zameer Abbasi about it. Abbasi allegedly responded by lying again and placing all the blame on the contractor, even arranging for the contractor to file a petition against the Sindh government in the Sindh High Court.

When the petition came before Justice Saleem Jessar and Justice Nisar Bhambhro in the Sindh High Court, both judges, being highly experienced, did not accept the contractor's arguments and did not issue any order against the Sindh government.

After investigations by the World Bank and FWO, the Sindh government reportedly discovered that the entire embarrassment had resulted from Zameer Abbasi's deception and false statements.

The Sindh government first attempted to rectify the situation by awarding the contract to FWO. Secondly, it sought to arrest Zameer Abbasi in an anti-corruption case and recover the alleged 17 billion rupees in order to reassure the public, the World Bank, FWO, and social media users.

However, this plan was allegedly leaked by the Anti-Corruption Department, and Zameer Abbasi escaped from Karachi. Anti-Corruption officials reportedly raided his residence in Karachi, but he could not be found.

Who is Zameer Abbasi, and how did he rise to such prominence?

Zameer Abbasi is originally from Gambat, Khairpur District.

He was first appointed as an Assistant Director in NAB in 2006. After serving for a few years, he was transferred on deputation to the Sindh Police in December 2008 through political influence and appointed as a DSP (Grade 17).

I first met him when he was DSP Sukhan and appeared before me in connection with an inquiry ordered by the High Court.

At first glance, he appeared so innocent and simple that one would think he knew nothing of the world. However, judging by later developments and his rapid rise, it became clear that he was an exceptionally sharp, cunning, intelligent, persuasive, and manipulative individual.

Zameer Abbasi has always been someone who thinks negatively and seeks opportunities that may harm others.

In 2013, following a Supreme Court ruling, officers serving on deputation in other departments were ordered back to their parent organizations. As a result, Abbasi returned to NAB. Soon after, the case involving Dr. Asim was assigned to him for investigation. Whether he benefited Dr. Asim or not during that investigation is unclear, but one thing that allegedly benefited Abbasi was that he cleverly submitted an application to the Sindh government claiming that he had applied for a Grade-16 Section Officer position in 2003.

The deadline for applications had been August 20, 2003, but Abbasi allegedly submitted his application on December 18, 2003 through fraudulent means.

Dr. Asim, described here as a very kind individual, allegedly facilitated Abbasi's appointment as a Grade-16 Section Officer in the Sindh Secretariat in 2016 on the basis of that old 2003 application.

Abbasi resigned from his Grade-17 NAB position and joined the Sindh Secretariat as a Grade-16 Section Officer.

Meanwhile, those who had passed the Section Officer examination in 2003 had already been promoted to Grade 18 by 2016.

Abbasi then filed a petition in the Sindh High Court demanding seniority alongside his batchmates and promotion to Grade 18. According to this account, remarkably, without any formal High Court order and merely on the basis of the petition being filed, Abbasi was promoted to Grade 18. Thus, he allegedly obtained a Grade-16 position without passing the required examination and later secured a Grade-18 promotion with 2003 seniority despite joining in 2016.

While serving in NAB, Abbasi was reportedly known for creating fake NAB call-up notices to summon officers to the NAB office and then later negotiating private settlements with them at his residence in exchange for large sums of money.

During his time at NAB, Abbasi allegedly took 250 million rupees from a contractor in return for closing an inquiry. He reportedly failed to fulfill his promise, leading the contractor to file a complaint with NAB. As of now, four NAB inquiries are reportedly pending against him.

According to NAB investigations, it has emerged that Abbasi allegedly transferred billions of rupees to accounts belonging to certain identity card holders from Qambar District and Gambat, and then moved those funds abroad, including to Dubai.

This is the story of corruption by an officer that allegedly began in 2006. According to these claims, over the past twenty years, a single clever officer who managed to avoid accountability accumulated assets through approximately 50 billion rupees worth of corruption, with little prospect of recovering those assets.

After spending at least forty-five years of my life, I have now come to understand that peace does not come when problems end.

Peace comes when you stop holding your breath while waiting for problems to end.

Because problems never truly end. In my view… at least not completely.

They only change their form.

Sometimes they soften for a few days, and then suddenly return with even greater intensity than before.

Sometimes they sit heavily in the quiet corners of the heart, and sometimes they appear again right when you think you have finally recovered.

I have also learned that being strong does not always mean standing firm in difficult times.

Sometimes strength also means sitting down for a while, gathering your scattered self, and simply continuing to breathe.

Sometimes strength is not about holding back tears, but about letting them flow.

Sometimes strength means being completely empty, yet still taking the next step.

Finishing unfinished tasks despite hardship…

And sometimes strength is as simple as quietly saying:

“I can’t do this…”

and yet somehow still doing it.

I now know that when life does not go according to our expectations, even love changes.

It is no longer loud and dramatic like before.

It becomes silent, softer, and deeper.

It hides in small things—

in a touch, in a glance, or in a quiet breath taken at the end of a long, exhausting day.

I also now know that happiness is not a replacement for pain.

It does not erase pain; it sits beside it.

It arrives in the middle of life’s confusion and exhaustion, just when you least expect it.

A sudden moment of laughter, a single instant that makes everything feel normal again for a while.

And sometimes, that is enough.

Now I know that a person can be grateful and sad at the same time.

Hopeful and wounded at the same time.

They can love their life, and still carry the pain of certain parts of it within them.

And I also know that I keep moving forward.

Tired. Afraid. Surrounded by uncertainty. Breaking. Falling apart.

Yet still moving on.

Because perhaps this is what love truly means.

Every day, through every difficulty, every darkness…

choosing again and again to rise, to gather oneself, and to keep moving forward.

Again and again.

Always.

Mood is still not bad today…

Some people become so accustomed to negative thinking that, despite positive circumstances, good opportunities, and sincere people around them, they still view everything from a negative perspective.

They find criticism even in praise, look for suspicion behind kind behavior, and focus on the possibility of failure in every new opportunity before seeing its potential for success.

When the mind is filled with negative thoughts, even broad daylight can feel like darkness. That is why changing your thinking may not immediately change your circumstances, but it does change the way you perceive them—and that shift in perspective often opens new paths and possibilities in life.

This is a man who wanted to end his life, but doctors pulled him back from the jaws of death. He took a loan of 20,000 rupees from online loan apps, and now his debt has reached into the hundreds of thousands. That is why he no longer wants to live.

This man, lying on a hospital bed in Peshawar, belongs to the Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He says:

"Stay away from loan apps. Today I am in less pain, but my family is suffering greatly. Please, even if you do not care about yourself, think about your loved ones. Do not play with their emotions. I took a loan of 20,000 rupees from a loan app. The next week it became 40,000, then 80,000, and in this way the debt kept increasing every week. Please stay away from them."

Nowadays, whenever you use your phone, every other advertisement presents an attractive offer. The ad shows a smart-looking young person. At first, he appears worried, but after taking a loan through an online app, he is smiling. No one tells you what lies behind that smile.

These companies spend millions on advertisements. Why? Because their real business begins when you get trapped. A customer who gets caught continues paying for months, even years. So every rupee spent on advertising comes back to them multiplied many times over.

It is a business trap, and you are the next potential victim.

Why do we agree to take such loans? If we speak honestly, it is not because of greed. In Pakistan today, millions of people have no money left by the end of the month. A child’s school fee, house rent, a mother’s medicine — these are necessities, but there is no money. Banks do not lend, asking relatives repeatedly feels humiliating, and then this app appears saying:

"We are here for you. Take a loan and solve your problems."

The human brain naturally tries to escape today’s pain and tends to underestimate tomorrow’s loss. When money arrives in your account, the brain releases a pleasure chemical — the same kind involved in addiction. You begin to depend on it.

Everyone who has ever taken such a loan initially thought: “It’s only for one week.” That thought is not necessarily wrong — but the calculation is.

And the truth is, none of this happens by accident. Some of the world’s top behavioral experts design such systems. The human brain prefers immediate rewards. Loan apps provide instant money, so the future damage remains invisible to the mind in the present.

How does this happen?

Take a loan of 20,000 rupees. Assume the interest rate is 50% per week — and many apps charge even more.

First week: 30,000

Second week: 45,000

Third week: 67,000

And the cycle continues until the amount reaches hundreds of thousands.

If you delay repayment even by a single day, additional penalties are added.

No one explains these calculations because if they did, nobody would take such loans.

You may also ignore other important details. Remember when you installed the app and it asked:

Allow access to Contacts

Allow access to Storage and Photos

Allow access to Camera

And you clicked “Allow” without thinking.

At that very moment, the game was over.

Now they have your entire contact list — your father, mother, brother, teacher, boss — everyone’s numbers stored on their servers. The photos in your gallery may also be accessible to them.

And when you fail to repay, the calls begin:

"If the money is not received by tomorrow, we will inform your family. We will leak your photos."

This blackmail continues. It is a crime — yet it is happening.

In this whole situation, the biggest loss is not financial. The biggest loss is that the victim feels unable to tell anyone.

If this young man from Peshawar is lying in a hospital bed today, it is because he did not want to tell anyone.

First of all, under no circumstances should you take loans from online loan apps. These are among the most dangerous forms of debt, and you may spend a lifetime trying to repay them. Even if you do repay them, your privacy may already be destroyed.

If you have any such app on your phone today, delete it immediately. And if you are already trapped, tell at least one trusted person in your family who can sincerely help you.

If these companies are harassing you, make sure to report them to the relevant authorities.

Quaid-e-Azam used to reserve two berths for himself during train journeys. Once, someone asked him the reason, and he narrated this incident:

“I used to reserve only one berth before. Once, I was traveling from Lucknow to Bombay. At a small station, the train stopped and an Anglo-Indian girl entered my compartment and sat on the second berth. Since I had reserved only one berth, I remained silent.

As the train picked up speed, the girl suddenly said, ‘Hand over whatever you have immediately, otherwise I will pull the emergency chain and tell everyone that this man is trying to force himself on me.’

I did not even lift my head from my papers. She repeated herself. I remained silent again. Finally, annoyed, she shook me. I raised my head and gestured that I was deaf and could not hear anything. I indicated, ‘Write down whatever you want to say.’

She wrote down her demand on a piece of paper and handed it to me. I immediately pulled the emergency chain and handed her, along with her written note, over to the railway authorities. Since that day, I have always reserved two berths.”

😀

Once, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was addressing school and college students. A Hindu boy stood up and asked:

“Why do you want to divide us by partitioning India? What difference is there between you and us?”

Quaid-e-Azam remained silent for a while. The students began making remarks at him. Some said, “You don’t have an answer.” Soon, there was hooting and laughter from the Hindu students all around.

Quaid-e-Azam asked for a glass of water. He drank a little and placed the glass on the table. Then he called a Hindu boy and asked him to drink the remaining water. The Hindu boy refused.

Then he called a Muslim boy and offered him the same glass of water. The Muslim boy immediately drank Quaid-e-Azam’s leftover water.

Quaid-e-Azam then addressed all the students and said:

“This is the difference between you and us.”

Silence spread everywhere, because the difference had become clear before everyone.

---

Muhammad Ali Jinnah never abused anyone, nor was he ever ill-mannered. He presented his arguments with such strong logic that even the greatest opponents would be left speechless.

People’s love for Quaid-e-Azam was such that if someone managed to shake hands with him, they would be overjoyed and spend the whole day telling others, “Today, I shook hands with Quaid-e-Azam!”

Despite immense opposition, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah never spent even a single day in jail.

And he never uttered words that later required him to say, “I take my words back.”

Everyone likes and shares Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan.

Today, let us see who shares this true hero of the nation.

😳
Never keep your own people involved in your business. On the 7th, early in the morning, I had a flight from Karachi to Islamabad. I was staying in Katti Pahari, so I booked an online taxi. When I got in, the road in that area was quite damaged, and the driver was handling the car very roughly — jumping over bumps without any care.

So I asked him, “Is this car yours or a rental?” He replied, “No, it belongs to my friend. He gave it to me to drive as a taxi.”

I was really surprised. I thought, his friend must be a good person who trusted him, hoping he would take care of the car, earn for himself, and also give him some share. But this man was completely ruining his friend’s car. After all, it was a vehicle worth 2.5 to 3 million rupees.

People are right when they say that nowadays, doing good to someone often means doing wrong to yourself. Instead of treating his friend’s car like his own and taking care of it, he was driving it recklessly at high speed even on badly damaged roads, treating it like a donkey cart.

Mother used to say:
"Learn to forgive… but never forget."

I always used to wonder — why forgive at all?
When the heart is wounded and trust is shattered, is forgiveness really possible?
And even if it is, do the people who broke us from within truly deserve it?

Then one day, my mother said:
"My child, forgiveness is not for others — it is for yourself."
Those words echoed through my heart like lightning.

She continued:

"The first time someone hurts you, forgive them.
If they hurt you a second time, still keep your heart generous.
But the third time?
Then… forgive yourself."

I asked in surprise, “Yourself? Why?”

She gently held my hand and said:

"Because you trusted the light within your heart.
You thought well of others.
You hoped to bring goodness into their lives.
You deserve praise, not punishment.
But now… set yourself free.
Forgive yourself — for carrying unnecessary burdens, for staying silent, and for hoping again and again."

The next day, there were tears in my mother’s eyes.
A close friend had betrayed her.

I asked, “What will you do now?”

She smiled and said:

"I have forgiven them…
because my heart is not made for hatred.
And I will not forget…
because my smile itself is the greatest testimony of my patience."

My mother’s words burn within me like a lamp.
She taught me:

Betrayal may break a person, but forgiveness… remakes them.
Wounds may bring us down, but forgiveness helps us rise again.
And those who broke us… sometimes become the reason we grow stronger.

So today, if your heart feels heavy, remember this:

You do not deserve punishment for someone else’s behavior.
You are light — and light can never be hidden beneath the dust of the past.

The Story of Zohar Regev

This woman, bound in handcuffs, is also Israeli. The police are Israeli too. She was born on Israeli soil, raised there, ethnically Jewish — in fact, Zionist. The same ideas were instilled in her mind that are taught to an ordinary Zionist child from an early age. Yet today, that very woman stands in an Israeli court facing charges of “rebellion” and “treason.” Her story is deeply thought-provoking, inspiring, and an example of a living conscience powerful enough to shake the heart.

The world noticed her when a hijab-wearing woman stood in an Israeli courtroom, handcuffed. There was no fear on her face, no sign of defeat in her eyes — only a strange sense of determination and peace. As though she had not come to stand trial, but to bear witness to her conscience.

This woman is Zohar Regev.

There was a time when she, too, was part of a society where Palestinians were presented only as “the enemy.” But sometimes human eyes see what years of conditioning cannot conceal.

In 2004, Zohar made the biggest decision of her life. She left Israel and traveled to Bethlehem in فلسطين/Palestine. There, she began living among Palestinian families, spending time in refugee camps, witnessing the grief of mothers whose sons had been killed, and seeing the fear in the eyes of children who fell asleep each night to the sound of gunfire.

It was there that a silent revolution began within her.

She felt that the people she had been taught to view as cruel and dangerous were, in reality, a story of patience, deprivation, and resilience. She began studying the Holy Qur’an, observing closely the courage and faith of Palestinian women. Then, one day, she embraced Islam of her own free will.

This was not an impulsive emotional decision, but the result of a long journey toward what she believed to be truth.

After accepting Islam, Zohar did not choose a quiet or comfortable life. She dedicated herself to supporting oppressed people. Later, she moved to Spain, but her heart continued to beat for the besieged children of Gaza.

For this reason, since 2008, she was reportedly present in nearly every “Freedom Flotilla” and humanitarian sea convoy attempting to break the blockade of Gaza — sometimes departing from Turkey, sometimes from Greece, sometimes from Spain. Every voyage carried the risk of arrest, every moment the possibility of an Israeli attack, yet Zohar remained steadfast each time.

This week, while the world watched the “Freedom Flotilla,” Zohar was once again among its participants. Israeli authorities detained everyone aboard. Most foreign activists were later returned to their countries, but Zohar was not released. She was presented before a court in Ashkelon because, as an “Israeli,” she had chosen to stand with Palestinians.

She was accused of rebelling against her own state narrative.

But according to this account, what she had rebelled against was oppression, falsehood, and the silence that turns human beings into living corpses.

In court, she stood with complete composure. Perhaps because a person who has sacrificed homeland, society, comfort, and relationships for what they believe to be truth can no longer be frightened by prison bars.

Today, Zohar Regev may stand as a defendant in an Israeli courtroom, but in the court of conscience and in the judgment of history, the writer portrays her as more honored than those who remain silent in the face of injustice. By raising her voice in defiance, she proved that she stands with what she believes is right, regardless of the outcome.

In the words of Niaz Barelvi:

“For your love, I carried mountains of sorrow upon my head — come what may.
I abandoned the pleasures and joys of life — come what may.”
