It was a quiet afternoon, and a little boy walked into the kitchen to get some water. Sunlight was coming through the window, making everything look normal and calm. As he stepped inside, he suddenly heard a faint sound from the corner.
He slowly turned his head… and froze.
For a second, he thought he saw someone standing near the fridge.
His heart started beating fast. He blinked—and the figure was gone.
