WORTH SEEING. Throughout the summer, the Museum at the Kozienice Palace (80 km from Warsaw) is hosting an exhibition featuring reconstructions of 180 historical military headgear items from the 18th to the 20th centuries—primarily Polish, but also Lithuanian, Prussian, Russian, French, Hungarian, Italian, Danish, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Greek, American, and Colombian. The display also includes 22 officer's cartridge boxes from the Napoleonic era, sabretaches, epaulettes, officer's gorgets, and original uniform plates from the former Polish army.
