The new studio in the new home

Yesterday I received an endorsement for a Global talent visa to the U.K. On February 8, I'm handing over the keys to my studio.
February 18 I'm getting my braces off my teeth (this is very important, the world should know about it! 😂)
And that's the end of it. Then I'll be back to Russia for one day, just to pick up passports with visas ready.
I want to organize last dinner for friends, at home or in the studio I don't know... We're saying goodbye to our home too.
At the studio... this abnormally snowy winter will soon be over. The sun will be creeping through the old window frames. Through the age-old pattern on the glass. And the new owner of the studio will be building his world there.

Last winter I had to put up with the urge to change the place of my studio. I was looking for a new space, my own, no longer for rent.
So summer came, the studio was flooded with sunlight in the evenings, open windows, the cries of seagulls, the way through the Tavrichesky garden. Autumn and February...
Now I do not know what to take up, what tools to pack in my luggage, what need to sell and what to say goodbye to. So many unrealised ideas lie on the shelves as rolls of leather. Some I've outgrown, and some I've never find time for.
Sometimes I wake up terrified that I forgot to put out the candles that are on the wooden windowsill. I think about jumping in a cab and going to check. And then I lie back on my pillow and think, "Burn it all, less to worry about".
January - ruthlessly and independently give up all material things. And leave for the unknown. To start anew.

Last mount in this factory where my studio is located. The place with wonderful friends and neighbours. I remember how four ears ago I tearing the plaster off the walls in search of that very brick and how It quickly became boring with its red color, and how I did't want to live this place wanting to put a bed here and move out of my " typical" Peter's apartment.
I still can't believe in my decision and how many work I did for that proud me in this point…
