Anchomanes difformis var. welwitschii with its leaf emerging from the cataphyll. The second leaf of the season as the first leaf didn't develop perfectly. However, if the growing conditions are ideal thereafter, they will replace the leaf, such as this one is doing.

Stenocereus beneckei f inermis. Apparently, if you put it under too bright a lights, it can revert back to is natural form and start growing spines again. Hopefully moving it to a slightly less bright position will reverse it.
