To our dear Singapore,
Today, Friday 24 April, is our last day at ION Orchard. After the joy of serving this wonderful city, we're closing the doors of our shop, though not forever, we hope.
Kee Wah began with a simple idea: to make something good and share it. Singapore took us in, made us feel at home, and gave us countless moments of connection over mooncakes, wife cakes, eggrolls, and pastries shared between friends and family. Every smile across the counter, every "this tastes like my grandmother's", every returning customer. That is the whole reason we do what we do.
To our incredible team and to our partners, suppliers, and neighbours who championed us along the way: thank you. You were the heart of this shop, and we quite literally couldn't have done any of it without you.
This isn't quite goodbye. We'll be back for seasonal pop-ups at Takashimaya for Mid-Autumn Festival and Chinese New Year, and we'd love to see you there. And should you find yourself in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Macau, or California, our doors are always open.
Singapore, it has been an honour. Thank you for everything—and here's hoping we'll meet again soon.
