關於金剛菩提子的保養
1.菩提子在盤帶過程中盡量不要沾水，如果不小心沾到水，應該馬上用軟布擦幹，放於陰涼避風處陰幹，處理不當會造成菩提子的開裂。
2.持用菩提子不宜出入溫差過大的場合，過大的溫差產生熱脹冷縮，會破壞菩提子自身的結構。
3.不要將菩提子保存在潮濕的環境中，因其多為植物種子，遇到潮濕環境會產生黴變反應，也就是我們俗稱的長毛，如果出現黴變現象不要害怕，用幹凈的軟布將黴變物質擦凈即可，不會影響菩提子的結構，更不會影響菩提子的正常使用。
4.如果菩提子表面出現過於幹燥的現象，一般是幹性皮膚朋友盤帶的結果，此時您只需將菩提子在您面部或身體其他出油部位滾蹭即可。如效果不明顯，也可將少量純橄欖油滴在手心上，將串珠在手中盤捏，直至籽珠表面被油潤均勻為止。這種方法盡量少用，避免因塗油不均，籽的表面產生花印，影響籽的美觀。
5.應盡量避免將菩提子置於暴曬，大風，冰凍的環境中，如果在這種天氣環境下佩戴，應盡可能讓菩提子處於身體可防護位置，如：上衣口袋，包裏等。
6.有棱角或造型的菩提子，應盡量避免外力擠壓或墜落在硬地上，這樣有可能會破壞籽的外觀和結構。
