"Children are made Readers on the laps of their parents" - Emilie Buchwald-

Hello there, welcome to Once Upon A Bookstore! As a mum of three who believes strongly in early literacy and bonding through reading, I'm constantly on the look out for good books to enjoy with my kids. I saw the importance of introducing Chinese books to my children from an early age to develop their interest in the language, especially because they are a lot more exposed to the English language than the Chinese language. I found that the selection of Chinese books available in Singapore to be rather limited though, and started the process of sourcing for books I think my kids would enjoy. That's how the idea of an online bookstore started. Let's stay in touch! If you would like to receive email updates of book reviews or new arrivals, please subscribe to email updates at https://onceuponabookstore.wordpress.com or follow us on instagram . Our collection of books is featured on https://onceuponabookstore.wordpress.com. To place an order, either PM me on this page, or drop me an email at [email protected]. Please also get in touch with me if you need any book recommendations. :)
