All mobility scooter users need Certificate of Medical Need from 1st June 2026.

Are you exempted? Is your Certificate in the LTA system?

Where to get a Certificate of Medical Need?

Assessment for Mobility Scooter will be conducted by your GP and the Certificate will be uploaded to LTA.

From 1 June 2026, users of mobility scooters or equivalent devices1 will be required to obtain a valid Certificate of Medical Need to use their devices on public paths.
