When asked about a local dessert that brings back fond memories, Chef Daniel’s answer was simple, pandan.

Growing up, he remembers his father making pandan kaya cake at Old Seng Choong, and sneaking a bite whenever he had the chance. 🍃🍰

A small childhood memory, but one that carries the taste of family, tradition and home.

Sometimes, the flavours we love most are the ones we grew up with.
