Important update for your U.S.-bound parcels! 🇺🇸

From 24 July 2026, U.S. Customs is introducing new requirements for commercial shipments valued at USD 2,500 or below.

Before sending your parcels, make sure you have:
1️⃣ A precise 10-digit HTSUS code
2️⃣ Complete customs data (accurate descriptions & recipient details)
3️⃣ Updated standard duty calculations (the old flat 10% rate is gone)

60 years ago, a young republic captured its grit, survival, and determination on its very first independence anniversary stamps - the only stamps in Singapore's history to bear the full name "Republic of Singapore."
To mark our nation's incredible milestone, SingPost is proud to preview this year's national day stamp issue. 📬 Sending parcels to Europe? Important update effective 1 July 2026.

The EU is removing its long-standing €150 customs duty exemption for low-value shipments. From 1 July, customs duty and VAT apply to all commercial goods entering the EU's 27 member states, regardless of value.
Here's what this means for you:

🎁 Sending a personal gift?
Personal gifts valued under €45 are still exempt from customs duty. You can continue to send via Ezy2Ship or at any SingPost post office islandwide.

Just remember:
Declare your item accurately as a gift
Provide the item's HS Code — our post office staff can help you with this if you're unsure

📦 Sending goods with commercial value?
Customs duty and VAT will now apply to all commercial shipments, and duty is charged per unique product type, not per order.
Sending a T-shirt, a watch, and sunglasses in one box? That's €9 in duty (€3 × 3 product types), not €3 — even in a single package.
Your recipient in Europe will be responsible for settling duties and taxes upon delivery under standard postal services.

For a smoother experience with no surprises at your customer's door, consider opening a SingPost Corporate Account and using Speedpost Direct International (EU) — our Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service that handles all duties, taxes, and fees on your behalf, billed to your account afterwards. Pricing starts from S$16 for the first 100g.
