We’ve been a little quieter here, but KEKA Toys is still very much here 🤍
Over the past few years, I’ve been studying psychology, and I’m now completing my final Honours year. It’s been a journey that has not only shaped how I understand others, but also how I see myself.
This year, I also had the opportunity to intern at Olive Tree Development Centre, working alongside a multidisciplinary team supporting neurodivergent children through early intervention.
What I’ve come to understand more deeply is this — play is not just play.
Through this experience, I’ve seen how play can support connection, emotional regulation, confidence, and the development of meaningful, lifelong skills.
I’ve also developed a deep respect for the families walking this path. It isn’t always easy, and it can feel overwhelming at times. But I’ve also seen how much growth is possible with patience, consistency, and the right support.
Every child grows in their own way.
Every child has strengths.
Every small step forward matters.
Thank you for continuing to support KEKA Toys as this journey evolves with even more purpose behind it.
And a heartfelt thank you to the team at Olive Tree Development Centre .eip — for your guidance, generosity, and the important work you do every day to support children and their families 🤍
