A big thank you to Cairnhill Community Club and the lovely families for having us over in Dec for a cushion cover art workshop!

It's been a long while since we had a craft session due to the pandemic (and new additions to our families!).

It was heart-warming watching our parent-child duos putting together their festive creations.

Got rather carried away creating polymer clay craft with these sisters! 😄 We tried quite a few colour combinations and made different accessories for their teachers.

This activity is really great to do with older kids. It's less messy than wet clay or play dough and a little material goes a really long way.

It was insane glitter galore when our 8 year old attempted these DIY sparkly glass jars and egg carton flowers for her teachers day gifts!

With stacks and stacks of kids paintings and random bit and bobs around the house, our little preschooler and mommy put together this upcycled art collage in a frame for her beloved teachers. :)

Another awesome upcycling idea from . This cute hand drawn diorama was inspired by the popular book, The Snail and The Whale (also an adorable animated movie on BBC1. Sadly it can't be accessed frm Singapore. Anyone knows where else we can access this movie?)

With a creative serial doodler mom like , we love how boring used boxes become a tad more magical for this little man!

We dressed up a bunch of used tin cans with leftover origami paper and scrap fabric (be careful of any sharp edges! You can wrap the edges with fabric or layers of masking tape first). You can even try this easy activity with other recyclables around the house such as wrapping paper, magazines and twine, coloured threads, ribbons, washi tape, shells and even glass jars instead of tin cans.
