When you just want simple solid-coloured necklaces, you make your own! 😸

We had these pink cords left, so we bought a pack of pink wooden beads & strung them up with plastic beads. And now we have 3 new necklaces to jazz up our outfits 😸

The Miaow recently responded to the call by Be Kind SG for handmade cards for Nurses' Day which falls on 1 August. With the onslaught of Covid-19 and the various physical distancing measures, these cards are a way to show appreciation to the staff working at the adult disability homes of Moral Welfare Home, and THK Home for Disabled @ Chai Chee, Eunos and Sembawang who take care of the homes' residents.

As we have loads of craft papers left over from creating notebooks, we put them (& other craft materials like buttons & washi tapes) to good use & made about 60 A5- and A6-size cards. It has been a wonderfully fun & creative few days of making these OOAK cards, & we hope that these cards brighten up the receivers' day.

Our creative streak extends to home decor 🤭🤭

The Miaow finally decides to make her windows prettier & room brighter with lace curtains bought from Daiso & put them up with DIY-hanging of a cord & ribbons -- see 2nd pix for close-up of ribbons.
The curtain rack is such an old-school type as seen in the 1st pix whilst the lace curtains required a rod to be put up, but the Miaow got creative with her craft materials & is pleased with the result 😸

Made 2 more necklaces from shank buttons which have been in our stash for ages. Shank buttons are more challenging to transform into necklaces so we sewed them onto 2- or 4-hole buttons which act as a base. Pix 3 & 6 show side profile of the shank buttons & their base buttons.
Simple necklaces these may be but they add some sparkle & colour to your outfit anytime 🤩

Over the weekend, a friend went on a mini shopping spree at Miaow & Squeak & got 3 necklaces & 3 pairs of earrings to match those necklaces. As only one necklace was from the new(er) collection from mid-2020, her damage was minimal as most of the pieces were from the old(er) collection. Nevertheless, we're happy for her support & hope she has many happy days/times wearing those accessories 😊

So, the Miaow was inspired to rummage through her materials & collections to see what she can create &/or re-string/re-assemble. The result: these 2 necklaces 😜.
Those wood buttons & pompoms have been lying around for the longest time... guess the Miaow was finally inspired to do something about them 🤣.

19 days till Christmas! 🎄

Re-posting/re-sharing these 19 necklaces that were created in the middle of this year (we created some others as well but these have been sold).
These OOAK necklaces are great gift ideas for peeps who appreciate some quirkiness in their outfits, & a little whimsical indulgence for yourself too! ;)
Prices indicated *exclude* local shipping fee, but free pick-up at selected MRT stations in the East/Central area is available. The main reason for our hesitance/concern in posting some of these necklaces is their fragility which may incur a higher shipping fee.

Anyway, dm us if you wanna get any of our neckpieces, & we'll work out something feasible :)

And these, my friends, are the last 4 to join our new collection for retail. Coz finished up the strings. Coz Miaow's new school semester has started. Coz Miaow needs to read 200+ pages of textbook & study materials before class in a few days. 😴🤪🤣

Coz itchy fingers. Coz a previous creation inspired us to dig out our big colourful buttons. We love these big bold buttons & when layered with smaller buttons & strung up with beads, make for very eye-catching neck candies 😸 -- see the first two visuals for these button necklaces.

We've also updated our new collection here on what's still available. Much appreciation to all whom have bought a piece or more from our new collection & taken bits of our existing collection. May our items bring on your smiles 😊❤️

Hi peeps, hope all of you are doing well :) . As we’re not actively crafting now – just the occasional necklaces, notebooks & cards largely for personal use – we’re letting go of most of our current collection of crafted accessories & stationery of earrings, necklaces, pins & notebooks. We still have materials left, ranging from buttons to assorted beads & baubles, as well as craft paper. So, if you want something quirky & fun to be created just for you (subject to availability of materials), DM us!

Meanwhile, if there’s anything you want from our collection shown here, DM us. Items are free -- ignore the prices indicated as these were previously on retail -- but delivery fee applies. We’re still figuring out the most cost-effective way to deliver the items to you, coz we don’t want you to incur a big delivery fee. We’re open to collection via meet-up in the eastern part of Singapore too. Anyway, DM us if you’re interested in anything & we’ll chat further.

Should you be interested in getting more than 2 items, please list the items in order of preference. We’ll confirm the availability of your third item onwards should there be no other interested party after a week. Hope you understand that we’d like to give others a chance to have something too. :)
