One candle. One family. And a season many PSLE parents feel deeply. ❤️

Our first candle activation of September took place while we were travelling abroad. Even though we were away from home, we brought our Double Blessings Candle along and shared this meaningful moment as a family.

After placing it safely in the recommended direction with the open sky ahead, we paused to reflect upon our sincere wishes.

📚 Korkor wished to remain focused, make steady progress and achieve better results for his PSLE.

As September brings us into the heart of the PSLE season, I know every child and parent carries it differently.

Some children feel anxious and may not know who to approach for calm guidance. Others seem completely relaxed while their parents quietly carry all the worry.

There is no single “correct” response. Sometimes, our children do not need more pressure—they need reassurance, a manageable routine and someone who believes they can move forward one step at a time.

🎒 As Jiejie watched her Korkor studying, she began thinking about her own next chapter. She wished for a happy and smooth transition into Primary 1 next year.

👶🏻 While Mummy guided Korkor and Jiejie, Daddy cared for baby Liam safely nearby. Liam watched us excitedly, fascinated by everything his siblings were doing.

❤️ Mummy wished for a healthy, fulfilling and blessed future for our family, our loved ones and everyone around us.

This reminded me of the ancient principle:

“修身，齐家，治国，平天下”

A better future begins with cultivating ourselves and nurturing our family well. A sincere wish gives us direction, but preparation, perseverance and action move us towards it.

Before leaving the room, we used the candle’s fitted lid to extinguish the flame completely, confirmed that it was fully out and allowed it to cool before moving it.

I genuinely appreciate this thoughtful, practical detail. Once completely cooled and covered, the candle is protected and easier to bring along when we travel.

心有所愿，身有所行

To every child sitting for the PSLE—and every parent supporting them behind the scenes—wishing you calm minds, steady progress and the strength to do your very best. ❤️

A meaningful little coincidence during today’s home reset. 😊

Ahead of Saturday’s Wealth Candle activation, I gathered my GoodQi diffusers together, refreshed the reeds and checked that all their oil levels were good.

Now my whole house smells heavenly🌸

While checking the Chinese Almanac, I discovered that today 3 September 2026—is 农历七月廿二, traditionally known in some Chinese communities as 财神节.

Most of us in Singapore are familiar with 初五迎财神 during Chinese New Year, but 农历七月廿二 is much less commonly discussed here. Historically, it was especially observed among merchants and business owners.

The timing made me smile because today’s reset was already about caring for my environment and preparing for Saturday.

To me, welcoming abundance is not about waiting for luck. It is about appreciating what we already have, preparing ourselves well and taking positive action when opportunities arise

HELLO SEPTEMBER!

A fresh month with so much happening for our families.

For many Singapore parents, September means one very big thing: PSLE is getting very real. 😄📚

As a mum, I know this season isn’t only about the child sitting for the examination. The whole family feels it — revision schedules, encouragement, meals, sleep, emotions and reminding ourselves not to transfer our own anxiety to our children.

Then comes the beautiful Mid-Autumn season 🏮🌕

Another reminder that amid all the busyness, family and togetherness matter too.

I’m also marking three FELEMENT candle activation dates in my September calendar:

🕯️ 5 Sep — Wealth | Southeast | 7am–2:45pm
🕯️ 16 Sep — Wenchang / Wisdom | Northeast | 7am–6:45pm
🕯️ 28 Sep — Wealth | East | 7am–10:45pm

According to our Felement candle activation instructions, the candle should remain continuously lit for at least 9 hours and be positioned in the corresponding direction.

For me, these occasions are also a reminder to slow down and be intentional about what I want to focus on in the coming month.

This September, I’m choosing family, focus, gratitude, learning and steady progress.

To all my fellow PSLE parents: we can do this.
To our P6 children: you don’t have to be perfect. Prepare well, stay calm and give it your best. 💪

And ahead of Mid-Autumn, may our homes be filled with more laughter, togetherness and precious family moments. 🌕🏮

Apparently Mummy’s 20 minutes of self-care still includes children and housework. 😂

We talk a lot about FELEMENT fragrances, but here’s one product that doesn’t get nearly as much attention: Cherry Blossom Magic Mask.

And yes, my little skincare assistant had to investigate first. ❤️

What caught my attention is that each tube is dual-purpose. FELEMENT recommends applying the mask for 20–25 minutes, massaging the remaining essence into the face and collarbone afterwards, then finishing with Cherry Blossom Magic Mist. The remaining essence can also be used as serum for another two days.

The mask features Natural Cherry Blossom Extract, Japanese Patent Probiotics (Rice Lactic Acid Bacteria) and Active Peptides, and is described by FELEMENT as hydrating, moisturising, nourishing and soothing.

Of course, those 20–25 minutes don’t mean Mummy sits around doing nothing. 😂 I can put my mask on and continue getting things done around the house while keeping an eye on the kids.

You might also notice a little scratch on my cheek — baby’s handiwork from earlier that day. 🤦🏻‍♀️Because it was fresh, I wondered if either product would sting. Thankfully, in my personal experience, neither the Magic Mask nor Magic Mist felt painful or stingy when I used them.

This isn’t a replacement for my usual skincare routine 🌸 just a lovely Cherry Blossom add-on when I want a little extra self-care.

Mask on. Mummy carries on. 💪🏻

Stressful day? Procrastinating? Can’t focus? Feeling hesitant?

There are no photos of the children studying today😊and I’m perfectly happy about that.

KorKor was revising for his prelims and upcoming PSLE exams. MeiMei quietly brought her own work and studied beside him, while little DiDi watched them with so much interest.

I could have reached for my phone to capture the moment, but I chose to remain present

To guide them, keep them company and simply enjoy watching three children at three very different stages of growing.

Nearby, I was doing my own Sunday reflections with GoodQi in the room, my Five Elements Perfumes beside me and Cherry Blossom Magic Mist within reach. We

The children may have been learning from their books, but Mummy is still learning too…how to slow down, be present and appreciate the ordinary moments while they are happening.

Not every precious memory needs a photograph.
