The recent contestant, Angelo Athian Akol Madut for the Kuac Graduates' Union in Wau, alongside his opponent Joseph Ngong Anei, who won the election yesterday at ATM Hotel.

Athian stated:
"I paid my application fee of 1,000,000 SSP, while my colleague contesting with me did not pay any amount during the election period, which is not right. He promised to pay tomorrow. Secondly, some students who are not eligible to sit for exams were allowed to vote, which is against the constitution, yet I remained silent."

Appeal for Medical Support for Madut Akech Yak, Former Chairman of Kuac Area Students Association, University of Juba (KASA-UoJ)*

Dear Kuac Community Leaders, Youth, Kuac Graduates Union, and Well-Wishers,

I humbly appeal to anyone with a kind heart to support the medical treatment of our brother, Madut Akech Yak, who has been ill since 2025.

Madut has been diagnosed with Chronic Hepatitis B (ICD-10: B18.1) and requires urgent medical attention. Recent test results show [insert key results, e.g., high viral load, elevated ALT].

His treatment plan includes medication, but due to limited resources, his family seeks collective support to rescue his life. While in Juba, doctors suggested taking him abroad for further treatment, which would greatly improve his chances of recovery.

Madut is currently in Kuajok, at Waralel residential area, and is unable to stand due to his condition. I kindly request your support to help him access the medical care he needs.
