في بدايات القرن العشرين بدأ جودت سليق الجد الأكبر لعائلة سليق بمغامرة عمل خلاقة لصناعة الشوكولا و الحلويات المرتبطة بها و التي كانت صناعتها الناشئة في سوريا وفي ذلك الوقت . لتصبح بعد ذلك و على مدار ثلاثة أجيال حتى الآن هي العمل الرئيسي لعائلة سليق .
في عام ٢٠٢١ و بعد أكثر من مئة عام ندين بالفضل لجهود المؤسس جودت سليق و ابنه الأكبر غسان سليق للحفاظ على هذه الصناعة و تطويرها . لتصبح واحدة من أيقونات

سوريا التي تبهر السوق المحلية و العالمية بمنتجات الشوكولا ذات الطعم الفريد و الخالي من أي إضافات صناعية .
لا بد من الإشارة أن المحل الأساسي الذي عُرفت منه شركة سليق الكائن في الصالحية السوق الأقدم في دمشق قد أصبح أحد المعالم الهامة التي يحرص على زيارتها أي سائح أو مغترب لعراقتهِ وحفاظهُ على عبق التاريخ .
كان إطلاق الفرع الكائن في أبو رمانة في العام ١٩٩٠ نقطة تحول بارزة لتطوير العلامة التجارية لشركة سليق و إنطلاقها بعد ذلك في الأسواق العربية و العالمية .
وإعادة صياغتها لتصبح واحدة من أهم العلامات التجارية السورية في مجال صناعة الحلويات
حرصاً على تواجدنا في أفخم المجمعات التجارية في سوريا تم افتتاح الفرع الجديد في المالكي - Avenue Mall وفق أحدث المعايير و التجهيزات العالمية و ذلك لتخديم القطاع الفاخر في السوق السورية .

In the early twentieth century, Jawdat Slik, the Great-Grandfather of Slik's family, began a creative and innovative business adventure in the production of chocolate and sweets. At that time, the industry has been on a rise in Syria, and after 3 generations, up to this day, this is the family's main line of business. In 2021, after more than a hundred years, we owe credit to the efforts of our founder, Jawdat Slik, and his eldest son, Ghassan Slik, to preserve and develop this business into one of the icons of Syria that dazzles the local and international markets with chocolate products that have a unique and exceptional taste that's completely free from any industrial additives. It must be noted that the main store from which the Slik brand was known for, located in "Salihiya Market", which is the oldest and most famous market in Damascus, has become one of the important landmarks in the city that any tourist or expat is keen on visiting while staying in Damascus, thanks to its rich history, heritage and originality of the store. The launching of our branch located in "Abu Rummaneh" in 1990 was a significant turning point for the development of the Slik brand. After that, the brand expanded and launched stores in Arabian and international markets and reformulated to become one of the most important Syrian brands in the field of confectionery and chocolate. To ensure our presence in the most luxurious commercial complexes in Syria, our latest branch has opened in "Malki, Avenue Mall" according to the latest standards and equipment in order to serve the upscale sector in the Syrian market. Lastly, our message to our valued customers: we pledge to maintain quality and provide the latest and best chocolate and sweets in the world.
