Tiki is high and dry and getting ready to be stored at Port Takola boatyard. Top effort from the team here and we were very well looked after in what is a very stressful process for us as boat owners.

Now time for the hard work on the hard stand, the bowsprit is off and we also removed the rudder for minor checks and maintenence. With 10 days before we need to leave the urgent job list isn't too long thank goodness.

Diesel refuel at beautiful Telaga Harbour. 380 litres should last us the next few months up the coast of Thailand and back, what we really want is lots of light wind so we can use the new Asymmetric spinnaker and pole!

We've been helping our friend who is on the hardstand in Langkawi preparing SY Tuppenny's topsides for a shiny new coat of primer and glossy paint. It's hot hard work but there's a good breeze to cool us and take the dust away, the sky is a FANTASTIC blue, we've a very fine view AND an extensive range of power tools 😂

Ticking off the job list, not too many fixing jobs thank goodness and cleaning absolutely everything. Went to put the sails back on and realised our main halyards and reefing lines had been stolen 😥 ho hum. Someone must have needed them more than we did. +150m of 10mm line to the growing shopping list.
On the positive we gained a marine ecosystem on the ends of our fenders 🐛🐙🐚

Pre-class meditation time in the peaceful sunny rooftop hall at Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram. I'm here for a week and with two yoga classes a day hope to make some solid progress with my practice 🙏. Hari Om followers ###

All paperwork completed and checked out of Thailand. Sad farewells we all love it here and will be back as soon as possible.

Today's overnight sail is to Ko Lipe en route to Langkawi - not too shabby then 😉

We are stranded aboard :( Darn outboard motor ceased in gear and when we pulled it apart found lots of broken pieces instead of the lower gear... bugga! row row row your boat la la-la la-laaaa.

What a contrast... This morning and yesterday we woke in a peaceful bay beside an uninhabited island with secret hidden gardens to explore and abandoned rock faces to climb. Each day at 7am a smiling local fisherman came past with a kilo or so of fresh prawns still live and kicking which we happily bought as they are soo tasty and perfect cooked and chilled for sundowners on the bow with cold 🍻. We've now moved to the more populated rock climbing area of Railay Beach with it's impressive cliffs to climb and amazing scenery. Noise levels are insane as it seems like we're anchored on the edge (or middle!) of what appears to be the long tail M1 highway but hey-ho, at least we can easily get a lift ashore for dinner!
*apologies for crappy 🎥 the rolling boat makes it hard to keep a focal point for light 😔
