December 6th, my dear Lola's birthday, a day that fills my heart with joy and profound gratitude. As an author, I'm endlessly thankful for the doors writing has opened. From those jittery, uncertain days of crafting my first book, I've grown to contribute a column in Newsday and write for the Trinidad and Tobago Guardian's kids’ section, weaving tales that spark imagination!
A huge shoutout to everyone who bought my books and extended invitations for storytelling sessions. You've made this journey magical. And to you, fellow dreamers: You too can contribute to our vibrant local author collection! Local books aren't just stories; they help children connect deeply with their culture, offering priceless insights for kids abroad.
