Mr. Ashley Parasram, Founder and Director of the Trinidad and Tobago Fine Cocoa Company Limited (TTFCC), invited second-year students of the Hugh Wooding Law School who are participating in the Principles and Practice of IP Administration course at the Trinidad and Tobago Intellectual Property Office to visit The Chocolate Box at the Hilton Trinidad & Conference Centre.

During the visit, Mr. Parasram spoke with students about the importance of utilizing the intellectual property system to protect his brand and product designs, particularly as his business operates both locally and in international export markets.

Drawing from his experience as an entrepreneur, he shared practical insights on how effective IP protection supports brand development, product identity, and global market expansion. His presentation provided students with valuable real-world perspectives on the role of intellectual property in business growth.
