Taking out a couple of skinny sweet gums on a hill side. Always be aware when felling a tree up a hill (no matter how big it is) the trunk will almost always bounce up in the air like it did on the video. I know a lot of people choose the DIY route, especially on smaller trees, but the terrain and elevation of the ground in the direction of your felling path is one of the may things you should always take into consideration. Take care and be safe 😁🤙🏻

Definitely one for the blooper reel and has a little bit of language 😂. All jokes aside, this was definitely a one off experience, my guy on my ropes is solid 99.9% of the time. This is the side you may not see on my or other tree guys videos. This is one of the many things that can happen aloft that contributes to the dangerous nature of tree removal and one of the contributing factors in pricing tree removals. Often times tree removal is one of the biggest, most expensive and most dangerous projects that home owners and contractors face. This is just to show it’s not always as safe or as easy as it looks 🤙🏻
