Dzikir

رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا وَرَسُولًا

(Radhītu billāhi rabban, wa bil-Islāmi dīnan, wa bi-Muḥammadin nabiyyan wa rasūlan)

“I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet and Messenger.

Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 185

All praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil within ourselves and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, none can misguide, and whomsoever He leaves astray, none can guide.

Servants of Allah, Allah says: “The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur’an was revealed as guidance for mankind…” This ayah reminds us that Ramadan is not only a month of fasting, but a month of the Qur’an. The honor of Ramadan comes from revelation, guidance, and clarity between truth and falsehood.

Allah made fasting obligatory, yet He paired obligation with mercy. The sick and the traveler are given ease, teaching us that Islam is not hardship, but compassion and balance. Worship is meant to purify our hearts, not break our bodies.

The goal of Ramadan is clear: to complete the days, glorify Allah for His guidance, and grow in gratitude. May Allah make us people of the Qur’an and allow Ramadan to change our hearts.

Indeed Allah commands justice and goodness… and Allah knows best.
