Where do I even begin...tonight was beautiful. We got to celebrate a guy we love and a bar we called home. I am truly grateful for the memories and the friendships I got to make here, in just 3 quick years.

Thank you for welcoming me into Akaska and for making me feel so loved. I'm truly grateful for Kent taking a chance on the sassy pants from Gettysburg.

We will be celebrating Kent and all the memories he helped us create in Akaska and at The Tav. We will be serving some of Kent's favorite tav foods and sharing memories.

Unfortunately this will also be the last day the Tav will be open.

For those of you who spent the winter with us, you know that the losses of Kent & Buckley devastated this town and our hearts. We have tried to the best of our abilities and capabilities to keep the Tav going in Kent's honor. We have reached a point where the mental heartache is just too much. 💔 We are beyond grateful for each of you that supported us each and every day. I know Kent would be in tears over what people were willing to do to keep his dream alive in his absence. He truly loved this community and so many of the people in it had made such a difference in his life. For that we are truly grateful as well.

Hopefully, it's just see ya later and not good bye ❤️
