I shipped a hand-picked stained glass scrap box to Avery Croteau and she sent me this pic saying she felt like a kid on Christmas...which is the BEST feeling ever! Unboxing new glass is one of my favorite parts of this hobby. Can't wait to see what you make Avery!!

One of our students did this amazing fused yard art piece of the moon🌜 and the sun ☀️. She used her stained glass skills to grind and fit the moon and sun as closely as possible and we fired a contour schedule on a clear glass base. We love the finished look 😍😍😍

We have a new home to teach classes at!

Starting this Wednesday, September 2nd, from 1-4pm, we will be at the Santa Barbara Martineztown Multigenerational Center at 1825 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 (Edith and Indian School).

This week we will be offering two projects for you to make at $15 each. They are scrappy bird suncatchers and paw print suncatcher or yard art (see pics below). If you choose to make the paw yard art, add an extra $5 for zinc framing.

We will also have our $10 plant stake and small suncatcher pieces available to make anytime.

All experience levels welcome! Come learn a new art form and make a beautiful keepsake.

We will be teaching classes every Wednesday from 1-4pm with new and fun projects to try. Check our page at the beginning for the week for the upcoming projects and cost.

You are required to have a membership to any of the Albuquerque area Multigenerational or Senior Centers to participate. If you don't have one, don't fret! A membership is just $20 per year and you can sign up on site.

I have a serious scrap glass issue that I need your help with! This stuff needs to go! Mosiac size at $2.50/lb and all other scrap at $4/lb. Pics are a small sample of what I have and I'm adding more daily.

Old churches means beautiful traditional stained glass. This church was built in the 12th century and has some lovely windows and incredible headstones.

Whew what a whirlwind couple of days! I'll have new glass available this fall after my studio buyout in Silver City this weekend. If anyone wants to help unload 3K of glass tomorrow let me know!
