Painted Props, Banners & More

10/27/2026

I was recently commissioned to create a banner for a trunk-or-treat with the special instruction that the themes be Biblical. A first for me.

The client settled on a few verses from Ezekiel, presented a concept (that sounded a little terrifying), and away we went!

I enjoyed working on the project and learned more than I knew before about the story of Ezekiel 37, the Valley of Dry Bones.

My latest banner, painted for a fellow farmer Dawn's Early Light Homestead at Jacksonville Farmers Market, was definitely the most challenging I've done to date, but also has turned out to be my favorite so far❤️🐰🐓🦆🍅🥬🫑

Pictures of it hanging at market in the comments😍

Do you need a banner for your special event? I'd love to help👩‍🎨🎨🖼

Another WhimsyWorks banner in the wild! This time at the Jacksonville Farmers Market 's Besties Boiled booth.

Helping to brand this farmers market venture by besties Donna & Jackie was a fun undertaking. The ladies will be offering different flavors of their jumbo, gourmet peanuts, so a laminated sheet they can edit with dry erase markers was incorporated within their banner design.

Best wishes for a successful market season, ladies🥜🥜🥜💜🩷
