Huge shout out to Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and West Michigan Whitecaps for putting together the Kids Can Conquer game last night. Daniel had an absolute blast being up in the PA booth and helping the DJ. If you know our family, you know Daniel is a sports fanatic. He dreams of being part of a professional sports team and last night gave him the opportunity to do just that. It was an experience he will never forget. We cannot say thank you enough to everyone who made last night possible.

New pattern addiction unlocked. I’m working on the Cotton Candy Baby Blanket from Candylou Watson | Baby Blanket Knitting Patterns and cannot put it down! Haha! This is such an easy pattern and it’s so pretty! I’m using I Love This Yarn in Sunset and Ivory colorways.

Dang it! (Can you spot the mistake?) The question now is, is it worth it to rip out 3”-4” of knitting to fix it? Do I really care that much? Will it even be noticeable?

Slowly making my way through a REALLY big project. I randomly decided one day, after stumbling across this red and grey yarn in my stash, that I wanted to make a buffalo plaid blanket. So I started looking and found an awesome pattern. It’s double knit, which means one side has red as the main color and the other has grey. It also takes longer to knit. But it’s going to be so worth it when it’s done! It will probably take me 6 months, haha! But I can’t wait to see this blanket when it’s done. And then I’ll turn around and make another because my son requested one almost as soon as I started this one, haha!

March was a rough month in our house, but I was finally able to finish this beauty! It’s heading to tomorrow along with 3 baby blankets, a small stack of mug rugs and 2 new gnomes! I will also be listing it in my Etsy shop later this week. I’m also excited to share that I learned how to duplicate stitch, so now I can add names or words to blankets to make them even more special!
