🌿 We’ve been a little quiet around here… and there’s a reason.

The last several weeks have looked very different for our family than we ever expected. We’ve been walking through a devastating health situation that no one can ever be prepared for.

We took this time to step away, simply be together as a family, and we're very grateful we did.

That meant putting some of our plans for Shining City on pause. But the dream hasn’t gone away.

We’ve slowly started planning, and working again, and we’re so excited to finally begin sharing a little piece of what we’ve been working toward.

We’re looking forward to our soft launch at TASTE of SUMTER later this month! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who has given us grace, prayed for our family, and continued to encourage us while we’ve been away. It has meant more than you know. ❤️

We’re taking this journey one step at a time, and we’re grateful to have our community walking alongside us.

There’s been a whole lot happening behind the scenes, and we’re getting closer and closer to opening the doors of Shining City Mercantile! 🤎

And through all the planning, work, and unknowns, we’re holding onto this promise:

We've been busy! 🌟

We're working to get everything just right. Little by little it's coming together and filling up with all kinds of hand picked treasures, from home decor to boots and so much in between!

There's still a lot to do, but we love seeing it come to life more and more every day!

God is already there. ♥️

He never promised the journey would be easy, but He did promise to walk with us every step of the way. Even when we can't see the path ahead, we can trust the One who holds tomorrow.

God is still working—even when it feels impossible. ❤️
