A little late on this post because the last couple of days have been a little crazy between family, doctor appointments for the kids, and running around taking care of everything at home — but I truly wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone involved in the North Andover Festival Committee North Andover Sheep Shearing Festival.
Sunday was absolutely amazing for us. It was our first time attending, and we felt so welcomed and supported. The day actually started a little stressful for me after selling out of a few items the day before and making a last-minute Restaurant Depot run for supplies. On the way there, I had a small accident, and although I was very shaken up and anxious, the two gentlemen involved were incredibly kind and understanding. Thankfully nobody was hurt, there was no damage, and they truly showed me that there are still really good people in this world. Something that could have ruined my day turned into a reminder of kindness, and I’m so grateful to them for that.
Then North Andover completely turned my day around.
Seeing so many familiar faces from Haverhill, Andover, North Andover, Melrose, and beyond — so many loyal customers that continue to follow and support our little business — honestly means more than I can put into words. Having customers drive from other towns just to come find us and enjoy our food is such an incredible feeling. There is something so special about seeing people come back for our food year after year, event after event. It fills my heart with so much gratitude.
Thank you to every single customer who stopped by our booth, waited in line, shared kind words, and supported us. Thank you to all the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to put together such a beautiful event. Festivals like these take so much work, and we appreciate all of you so much.
Also, a special thank you to my bestie/promoter for the amazing photos and videos ❤️ You always capture the best moments and hype us up better than anyone!
We had an incredible first year at North Andover, and we are already looking forward to next year.
