Owner, Judy Recknagel, opened The Mermaid’s Tale in 1992 as a gift and antique shop. A few years later she phased out the antiques to bring her customers all the offerings of a woman’s boutique. She was excited to share her love of jewelry, handbags, clothing and so many more fabulous accessories with her customers! That’s where we come in. We have beautiful items in every price range.
