Moving to a new duty station or another location in the U.S.? Your active TRICARE referrals may move with you.📦🇺🇸
Active referrals remain valid within the same region and can automatically transfer between the East and West Regions after you update your address in DEERS and change your enrollment.
After your move:
1. Update your address and enrollment within 90 days through milConnect under Beneficiary Web Enrollment.
2. Contact your regional contractor and ask them to create a new specialty referral for your new location.
3. Schedule an appointment with the new specialty provider.
4. Make an appointment with your new PCM as soon as possible.
This process is designed to help prevent delays in specialty care while you establish care with your new PCM and may help you continue arranging the services and equipment you need after your move.
