A little update on Til Death šŸ¤

I’ve been putting off writing this because I honestly didn’t really know how to say it.

When I started Til Death, I wanted something that was mine. Something fun and creative that I could pour my energy into, meet people through, and have as an outlet outside of being a mom and everything else life brings.

And then… I found out I was pregnant. šŸ˜‚ Seven months postpartum, pregnant with baby boy #3.

Now I have a 5-year-old, an 18-month-old and a 2-month-old, and somewhere along the way, my priorities just started to change.

I’ve been on maternity leave and obviously haven’t been very active with the business or doing events. But honestly, having this time away has given me a chance to really think about what I want my life to look like right now.

And I keep coming back to the same thing: I want to be home.

I want to be with my boys. I want more time with my husband. I want to be present in our home and actually enjoy these years while my kids are little, instead of constantly trying to find a way to fit one more thing into an already very full life.

So, I’ve made the incredibly hard decision to close Til Death Permanent Jewelry.

And while it’s a little bittersweet to say that, I don’t feel like I failed. Not even a little.

If anything, this little business taught me so much. It taught me that I can create something from nothing, put myself out there, try something completely new, and most importantly, that it’s okay for your plans to change.

When I started Til Death, I thought I was starting something I would have for a long time. Instead, it ended up being a small chapter in a very different season of my life. And that’s okay.

To everyone who ever booked with me, came to an event, bought a piece, shared my business, recommended me to a friend, or simply followed along, thank you. Seriously. You helped make this little dream of mine real.

And if you’re still wearing one of my pieces, I hope you keep it for a long time. Not just because it’s permanent jewelry, but because I hope it reminds you of this little chapter too.

One last little note: if you have a Til Death gift card that you haven’t redeemed yet, please reach out to me **before October 1st** so we can get you taken care of. I want to make sure everyone who has a gift card gets the chance to use it before I officially close things out.

Til Death might be ending, but I’m leaving it feeling really grateful for everything it gave me.

Right now, I’m choosing the chaos, the noise, the laundry, the cuddles, the little boys and the life happening at home. I’m pretty sure that’s exactly where I’m meant to be. šŸ¤

Hi everyone šŸ¤

I wanted to take a moment to check in and share a bit about why I’ve been a little MIA these past few months. Shortly after launching my permanent jewelry business and hosting my first few events, I found out in early October that I was pregnant. It was a huge and very unexpected surprise for our family, especially with our youngest being only 7 months old at the time.

A few weeks later, I was also laid off from my corporate job of five years, which was incredibly tough. During that uncertain season, I poured everything I had into this business, booking events, showing up, and doing my best to grow. Because of your support, I was able to continue providing for my family, and for that I am endlessly grateful. Truly, thank you so much šŸ¤

In January, I was blessed with the opportunity to accept what feels like a dream job, and I have spent the last few months working hard to grow in that role and prepare for maternity leave. Between that, working at my family’s restaurant, raising two little ones at home, and navigating a high risk pregnancy, life has been full to say the least.

As much as I love creating permanent pieces and being part of your special moments, I have had to make the difficult decision to officially go on maternity leave. My focus needs to be on my health, my family, and preparing for our newest little one arriving in just a few weeks.

This is not a goodbye, just a see you later. I fully plan to return and start booking events again this summer šŸ¤ If you have something coming up or want to plan ahead for when I am back, please feel free to send me a DM. I will do my best to respond as soon as I can.

Thank you again for your continued love and support. It truly means more to me and my family than you know, and I cannot wait to be back and creating with you all soon ✨
