Ive had this idea of putting scenes ive seen here in the state of Tennessee but couldn't figure out the medium or how to creatively capture it. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do 🧡 This is definitely one of my new favorite pieces and I can't wait to do some more!!

We went to a local art store (they sell locals art and host art classes) this lady had cute artwork and said its a no sew quilt art and I should look it up bc its so fun to do.
Well of course I looked it up!! Its called Kinusaiga and its a Japanese artform that uses scraps of fabric to create "quilt-like" mosaic pictures. Originally developed in the 1980's by a Japanese artist Maeno Takashi.
Its a great way to use scraps of fabric you might otherwise throw away. Im gonna make a bunch for the kids to do too.
I learned about this on Saturday and I had to try it for myself and Im glad I did!!
