This semi-transparent sodalite shines a brilliant deep blue-purple when the sun shines through it. I've never seen a stone like it before!

One of my latest pieces! I just love malachite, it's one of my favorite stones 🥰

The deep forest green of this malachite makes me want to melt into it's warm energy! Woven with bare copper (that will naturally oxidize into a deep copper red), this piece gives a sense of peace and wellbeing, something we could all use more of in life.

Happy no more 2023! 😆 Time to charge ahead into the new year! My world went a little haywire for the last few months, which unfortunately has taken a toll on my Create Pretty Shiny Things time. I’ve also taken a seasonal position at an ice rink (yup, I drive the Zamboni!), which also keeps me busy.

I’ve decided to take things into a different direction this year. Here’s a free things I’ll be doing differently…

1) I’ll only be doing in-person fairs with fairs where I know the coordinators, or know trusted people that know the coordinators. There are just too many scammers and poorly run fairs out there. It’s just more time and money than this little business can risk.

2) I’ll be putting more time and advertising into my website, because that really is the best way for me to get my shinys out there. This will likely be done mostly through social media and content creating. I also hope to get back to doing readings, which would be offered virtually. Perhaps I’ll start a podcast. Still brainstorming 🙂

3) I’m contemplating putting some of my pretties out in Pagan shops on consignment (again, only with people I know). Would be nice to have a couple locations where I can say “Wanna see my stuff? Go to this cool store!”
