There was a lot to appreciate about Dolly Parton and we are going to celebrate her amazing literacy efforts through her Imagination Library program! Join us this weekend 9/25 (9-to-5) through 9/27 to get a free book for ages pre-K to middle school. You don't have to have a child with you to snag a book. Gifted books are fabulous and so are new books for your local Little Library!

After the school year starts not as many folks pick out books at our shop and you know we would rather have the books in the hands of kids than sitting on our shelves! So let's get these books out into the community to help improve literacy and foster a love for reading because that is what Dolly wanted!

1) come visit the Sustainability Fair put on by Palatine Cool Cities until 4p.
2) Visit the Greener Good creative reuse resale shop, open until 3p. Then head home and create to break out of this Sunday gloom.
