My son refused to wear this sweater last year when I was test knitting it for kolibri by johanna . He has all of a sudden been asking for sweaters I made him. Despite the sweltering heat, this kid is rocking his hand knit sweater and I couldn’t be more excited.

Just got back from Montreal and, of course, I had to squeeze in a yarn shop stop at Les Laines Biscotte 🧶🇨🇦

Came home with some beautiful Sandnes Garn, destined to become a second ! Because apparently one just wasn’t enough. 😉

This has been a labor of love 💛 🤍!

☑️All the squares have been made
☑️ individual panels connected

Now on to the next exciting step of attaching all the panels and edging.

I still haven’t picked up buttons so I’ll take suggestion on button style/color 🤗.

Happy Friday! I’m excited to show off my finished by Cheryl Mokhtari (test knit). I was a bit confused with the button/collar band but once I figured it out, I felt it was genius! Loved how this turn out 🤍🤎.
