How many beach towels does it take to make a matching set for a baby? One, but it was close! I made my own “pattern” by tracing an outfit that I liked the size of onto wrapping paper. I had to re start quite a few times and use the seam ripper more than I would like to admit. But we successfully only used one towel. I ended up making myself a matching pair of shorts with the towel I had as backup!
This was my first sewing project in a very long time so I am happy with the way it turned out!
Supplies used:
- one large beach towel
- matching thread
- elastic
- wrapping paper to make your own pattern (if you dare)
- 7/16” open ring snaps
- heavy duty snap pliers
