Beyond stoked to announce the release of the signature humbucker set, the BLOODWING! Years in the making, fully road tested and approved, they will be available on the site 11/13/22!

I met Wino back in my Nashville days when opening for Premonition 13, and got to hand him a pickup for the first time. When started playing and recording again, he was a big fan of the Railsplitters and used them on the album. Keeping in line with this, the Bloodwing set is another rail based humbucker, with slightly less output than the railsplitters for more bite and top end cut, while retaining enough output to saturate the front end of the amp.

Story time. I got to meet Les Paul briefly after a gig at the Iridium in '06. I was a 15 year old kid and he was already one of my biggest heroes. They sat me front and center a couple feet away from Les. He was 91 and absolutely tearing it up. After the show he stuck around to sign autographs. I remember racking my brain trying to think what I could say to such a legend. All I could mutter in a shaky voice was "Thank you for everything you've done for guitar and recording!" I'm sure he sensed how nervous I was and chuckled a response saying how it had been a wild ride.

UPDATE: First, a big thank you to all of you for keeping me so busy for the last year and a half now! I've been quiet on social media for the most part to keep up with orders and to focus on new stuff in development. I'll be out of the shop the next month to focus on health and hit some of the most intense hikes of my life to date. Everything will still be available for sale on my site, but won't ship until I'm back in the shop after labor day. Thank y'all for your patience and all the support! Big things coming and I couldn't be more stoked!
