We feel incredibly proud to partner with the Center for Native Health this summer. They our of first partner as a part of the BPBX Mutual Aide Initiative. Through this program we are honored to promote their cause, contribute financially to their mission, and support authors and creators who continue to make a meaningful impact in our community.

Proceeds from each book sold through their curated display in the bookstore are donated to support their mission.

The Center for Native Health’s mission is to support balanced wellbeing of southeastern Native communities through the preservation and respectful application of Native knowledge to empower the people, land, and culture.

The first Evening in Lisbon sold out. This is what the room felt like.

Fado - the UNESCO-recognized Portuguese music built to hold saudade, the ache of something beautiful - played live, paired with Portuguese wine, in a candlelit corner of Battery Park Book Exchange.

One woman put it best: “I’m a world traveler, but I don’t get to travel much these days. Tonight let me connect with that part of myself again.”
