So that time of year is coming back and we CANNOT WAIT for the PUMPKINS. This has been something that we have enjoyed in our personal lives for many years. Getting a truck full of funky bumpy pumpkins for our front porch and NOW we get to facilitate that for others. People last year flocked to our newly built stand and had us decorate so many porches around town for themselves or as gifts for others. The experience was truly inspirational and definitely helped get us through these upcoming winter months.SO they will be coming BACK as a yearly tradition!

What a treat this year as we admire these moments in the garden. These national treasures migrate with the temperatures and require very specific needs in order to survive and exist. They only lay their eggs to feed their babies on Milkweed plants, making their existence some what fragile.

SO THE SOURDOUGH IS IN! We love how delicious and dedicated Riverside Sourdough is to their products, and quite frankly so does their following. We keep increasing our stock in order to meet demand. We also have the last of the tomatoes as the season continues to wane, fresh flowers grown here in collaboration with Bountiful Blossoms Farm. Aaaaaaaaand stay tuned for PUMPKINS September 18th as the stand transforms AGAIN for our much anticipated pumpkin decorating service.

Let's talk about a plant that has stood the rest of time. Sedums are extremely drought tolerant and are a long lived perennial that can take the hottest sun. They truly thrive on neglect and bloom right at the beginning of fall. We currently have 5 in the stand perfect for fall planting

Leeeets talk about this cute lil guy. THIS my friends is the Saddleback Caterpillar. He is less than an inch long but packs a punch that feels like a burning electric shock when you brush up against his stinging spines. We have found 2 this month while cleaning up our gardens. They turn into a moth that has no true characteristics(they're just brown). While they are very interesting BEWARE of this lil bo**er
