Not every favorite photo is a good photo.

Sometimes it's blurry.
Sometimes the lighting is terrible.
Sometimes your pet looks like a creature that has never been photographed before. 😂

And somehow it's still one of the pictures you'd never delete.

I can't be the only one with a camera roll full of these.

One tiny photo habit can save you a whole lot of frustration later:

Back up a little.

It's tempting to fill the entire screen when you're taking a picture, but leaving some extra space around your subject gives you options.

You can crop a photo tighter later. You can straighten it. You can change the shape.

What you can't do is magically put back the part that never made it into the picture. 😂

Especially useful for photos you might someday want to print or turn into something else.

Are you a “fill the whole screen” photographer or do you leave yourself some room?

You probably have a favorite photo hiding somewhere between a screenshot of a recipe and 47 pictures you took trying to get ONE good shot.

And that's kind of the problem with camera rolls.

We take the pictures. We love the pictures.

Then they disappear into a sea of screenshots, duplicates and photos we forgot we even took.

So here's your challenge for today:

Scroll back a little and find one photo you haven't looked at in a while that still makes you smile.

No need to do anything with it.

Just go find it.

Then come back and tell me what you found — family, pet, vacation, friend or something completely random?

After careful consideration, I’ve decided it’s time to introduce the talented team responsible for the success of Scene It Treasures.

Our current staffing situation consists of:

🐱 One demanding senior executive
🐶 One overly enthusiastic security guard
👩 One camera-shy employee doing most of the actual work
🥒 And one pickle with 15 years of seniority

HR is nonexistent.
Productivity is questionable.
Treat expenses are completely out of control.

And somehow… Scene It Treasures continues to operate. 😂
